While I'm doing so how you suggested, I have got more questions at the moment:
is this add-on a special add-on for MyIE9 ?
where can I find this add-on
Or is it better to ask my question new:
= how can I open a local video/audio-file ( i. e. nature.mp4 / kalimba.mp3) from the file-system
inside in a MyIE9-Browser-Tab/Browser-Window?
other questions to the MyIE9-Browser are:
** how can I change the file- and folder-icons of the favorites in the sidebar?
** how can I zoom (decrease/increase) the view of the content in the sidebar?
** how can I download/use the new skins for MyIE9 on the page "https://www.myie9.com/s.htm"? ( I'm not able to read and translate chinese)
** how is it possible to use the MyIE9-Browser under ubuntu-Linux?
with best regards
Bernhard

You can try installing a video player extension/add-on for the MyIE9 browser, such as HTML5 Video for MyIE9 or Flash Video Player for MyIE9. Alternatively, you can try dragging and dropping the video file directly into the browser tab to see if it will play.
